Level 1 Watercraft Inspectors
Pay Rate: Start at $13.00/hour
Type: Part Time
We are seeking Part Time Seasonal Watercraft Inspectors to work at Public Access sites in Hubbard County.
The Watercraft Inspector serves to inform and EDUCATE the public of the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species to our area lakes. Inspectors work at public water access sites educating the public by providing information to watercraft users and conducting a brief survey while inspecting the watercraft for invasive species. All inspectors hired must receive Level 1 DNR Watercraft Inspector training (paid).
Most work is on weekends and holidays from May through September/October. The mandatory training takes 6 - 8 hours (paid). The training will be held in April.
Watercraft Inspectors will be assigned to a specific lake or group of lakes; assignments based on availability. Personal transportation to the lake access is required.

Ability to be assertive in order to uphold the standard of training for Level 1 inspector
To qualify for a Watercraft Inspector position:
Must pass a criminal background check
Must have reliable transportation
Must be 18 years old or older
