DESCRIPTION:Click Here to Watch Live on Facebook\n\nThe towering pine on Main Street\, trees lit\n\non every corner\, fresh evergreen wreaths on the carriage lights and window\n\ndisplays set the scene for the holidays in downtown Park Rapids.\n\n\n\nWe invite you to join us virtually on CHI St. Joseph's Health Facebook page\,\n\nPark Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page or\n\nwww.ParkRapids.com at 6 p.m.\, Friday. Nov.27 th as we Light Up A Life for\n\nHospice Care during the Heartland Lakes Community Tree lighting on Main\n\nStreet in partnership with the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.\n\nThe tree lighting ceremony is a celebration of life and memories. This year's\n\nevent will honor CHI St. Joseph's Health Hospice Care individuals and families\n\nwe have been blessed to care for and have provided comfort to.\n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19 and public safety\, businesses will not be offering a Yuletide\n\nSampler\, a live choir will not gather to sing and there will be no fire pits this year.\n\nSome things will not be the same this year\, but our community spirit will still be\n\nstrong as we get through this pandemic and keep our community safe.\n\n\n\nHowever\, in the spirit of the season\, Santa will arrive and pull the switch to light\n\nthe beautifully decorated Main Street tree for the celebration. Kids can also write\n\nletters to Santa and drop them off in the Mailbox on Main Street. Kids can come\n\nget a glimpse of Santa and Mrs. Claus each Saturday in December at 1:00 pm as\n\nhe collects the letters...... but remember.... social distance so that Santa can stay\n\nsafe and get those gifts ready for Christmas.\n\n\n\nAll season\, Park Rapids' giant tree brightens Main Street on winter nights and\n\nstands as a symbol of small-town cheer and good will\, lighting the way to a New\n\nYear.
