DESCRIPTION:Top Reasons to Attend the Annual Meeting of the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\n\n\nA special treat during the social \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHear valuable Program of Work updates\n\n\n\n\n\nHonor & celebrate business with the Distinction Awards...who's going to win?\n\n\n\n\n\nDelectable dinner from the Good Life Cafe \n\n\n\n\n\nEngagement in your Chamber and in your Business Community\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Awards Categories:\n\nShining Star Award:  Highlighting a member whose leadership and willingness to contribute makes them shine.\n\nTourism Award:  Distinguishing a member for their example in distinctly keeping the tourism industry strong in our region.\n\nAmbassador of the Year Award:  Recognizing the contribution and commitment of an outstanding Ambassador.\n\nChair's Exceptional Individual Award: is bestowed in appreciation for an individual's commitment and service to the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.   \n\nBusiness Excellence Award:  Honoring one chamber member who displays the values of the Chamber in Leadership\, Workforce\, Innovation and Community. \n\n\n\nApplications are due by 4:30pm on Thursday\, September 8th\, 2016.\n\nEligible businesses are encouraged to apply directly for The Business Excellence Award.  Brief nominations will also be accepted   prompting Chamber staff to contact the nominee for submission of an application. \n\n \n\nAll awards\, with the exception of the Business Excellence Award\, are nominated by the board\, Ambassadors and staff. \n\nThe executive committee selects the winners with final approval by the Chair of the Board.
