The shows will be at 10 a.m. and noon at Pioneer Park on the second block of Main Street. Paul Nye\, a children?s pop musician and songwriter\, will bring the wonder of imagination and creativity to elementary school kids in a fun and engaging way through original music\, storytelling and interaction. Unpolished will play at 10:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Thursday at Pioneer Park. Unpolished performs an eclectic mix of roots\, Americana and Bluegrass music on bass\, guitar\, mandolin and banjo complete with rich three-part harmonies. The group covers many styles of folk music including music from the 1800s - Civil War\, old cowboy music\, railroad songs\, bluegrass music and traditional Gospel music. Members are Dick Max on bass\, Dave Karam on guitar\, Sheldon Scheibe on mandolin and Mark Bridge on banjo. And plan to stay Downtown for 2nd Street Stage featuring The4ontheFloor from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Rock ?n roll is alive and well in this band who opened the 2013 2nd Street Stage season in unforgettable style.
