DESCRIPTION:Join the Itasca Moraine Chapter in this hiking experience on the North Country National Scenic Trail in Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge.  This is an easy 4.1 mile hike from the Blackbird Wildlife Drive to the Old Indian Trail\, featuring a variety of forest types including old growth hardwoods.  This area of Tamarac was previously only accessible by bushwacking.

LOCATION:Meet at the Pine Lake Parking Area on Co Hwy 29. There will be a shuttle to the starting point on the Blackbird Wildlife Drive.
