He is an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe\, and his mom is Turkish/Finnish.\n\nHe holds a degree in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu and has honed his skills at an eclectic mix of restaurants\, from upscale steakhouses to vibrant Turkish\, Latin American and innovative soul food kitchens.\n\nHe's been a key figure at Owamni for more than two years\, where he is now Chef de Cuisine.
