DESCRIPTION:You're Invited! \n\n\n\nIn a free\, educational workshop entitled\, "Heart-to-Heart: As Your Parents Age\,"\n\nparticipants will receive basic education about the variety of ways to approach\n\nconversations with your aging parents. An additional focus will include older adult service\n\nchoices and health care directives. \n\n\n\nThe 60-minute workshop will help you gain a better understanding of\n\n	Your parents' vision of the future.\n	Information needed to help your parents achieve their vision.\n	Tips to help start healthy conversations that lead to positive outcomes.\n	Choices for aging adult health care services and ensuring their wishes are carried out using health care directives. \n\nEach participant will receive a workbook and relevant handouts intended to be a resource for adult children and their parents. The workshop will be facilitated by Thrivent Financial representative\, Larry Gebhardt and Knute Nelson Registered Nurses\, Laura Pike and Kristin Gilmore.\n\n \n\nThere is no cost to attend\; however\, RSVPs are appreciated due to limited space. Desserts and refreshments will be served.
