The event will be on Wednesday\, August 2\, at 1:30 pm at the site of the connection.\nBefore history is made by driving a Golden Spike at the precise location\, history will be made with words. Program particiapnts include: Officials of the U.S. Forest Service\, a national Bicycle Industry Spokesperson\, National & State Park & Trails Advocates and a Minnesota D. N. R. Official. All area elected officials are invited along with Chambers of Commerce Staff and Members.
