DESCRIPTION:Exploring Archery\n\nHave you ever wanted to shoot a compound bow but didn't have one or were afraid to try? Join certified archery instructors for hands-on training and coaching on compound bows\, then try out our archery range. \n\nParticipants also will have the opportunity to learn about the safe use of bows in ground blinds and tree stands. After learning basic tree stand safety\, participants will have the opportunity to shoot from a ground blind and a tree stand. \n\nThis program is designed for beginners. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Bows and safety harnesses\, and other equipment are provided during the program. Personal archery equipment is not allowed due to weapons rules in Minnesota State Parks.\n\n\n\nParticipants will be outside for the program. Be prepared for standing in the sun. Bring along sunscreen\, sunglasses\, hat\, insect repellant and water.
