DESCRIPTION:The Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers holds annual three-day reunion/shows the third three-day weekend in August\, hosting them on its 25-acre show grounds which is located adjacent to the north side of Itasca State Park on MN # 200.\n\n			\n\n			More than two dozen rustic-framed buildings can be found in a shady\, park-like area on the grounds\, and these house a sizable auditorium\, logging museum\, kitchen\, blacksmith shop\, engines\, models and toy displays\, hot-air engine displays\, and other activities.\n\n			\n\n			Another area adjacent to this site houses the historic Itasca Park sawmill\, the equally historic A J Levorsen sawmill engine\, and the Roy Hemmerich Logging Memorial.\n			There are many things to see and do at the Itasca Pioneer Farmers show. See grain threshing\, lumber sawing\, shingle making\, and more\, the way it was done 'in the old days'. Take a ride in a horse-drawn covered wagon\, or on the model railroad made large enough to carry passengers.
