DESCRIPTION:This is the 1st of two virtual workshops\, taught by Karen Terry\, retired Water Resource Management\, University of Minnesota Extension to be offered this September.  You may attend one and/or both of the workshops.\n\nWorkshop #1 is Tailored Toward the Individual Learning techniques for changing their own lawn to help improve water quality.\n\n\n\nThe first workshop will be on Tuesday evening\, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and will include an overview of the connection between land use and water quality.  Our lawn is our own mini watershed. Through the method of ?systems thinking? individuals will learn techniques for changing their own lawns to help improve water quality. \n\n\n\nBoth workshops will include time for Q & A. These sessions will be recorded and made available for future use.
