DESCRIPTION:Water Wars  -- click for registration\n\nFestivities kick off with Water Wars at 5:30 pm Thursday on Main Street in Downtown Park  Rapids. Teams sign up to battle it out for bragging rights and ownership of the "Loony Traveling Trophy" for the year. Then grab a chair and stay for music at 2nd Street.\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR...\n\nLumber Jack & Jill Challenge\n\nLike a little challenge? Can you handle some good'ole fashioned physical labor ...logger style? Then you're the one we need! Gather your team of 4 today for a chance to win $500 cash & braggin' rights! (minimum of 1 Jill per team) \n\n\n\nTeams will be challenged to a head to head\, single elimination competition to stack log cookies\, make a bow saw cut & hammerschlagen with the fastest team advancing until they are the only one left to take home the money!\n\n\n\nLJJ Competition Registration  ---click here\n\n\n\nMaster Chainsaw Artists & Auction\n\nSculptors begin their masterpieces early Friday  morning. Right before your eyes the sawdust flies and huge logs begin too shape into beautiful pieces of art. Final touches are put on Saturday morning before they're put up for auction to the highest bidders in the afternoon.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFun Family Activities\n\nFood on site both days\, Saturday a Loggers Breakfast starts at 7 a.m.\, Civil War canon exhibit and a candy canon shot multiple times both days\, dutch oven cooking samples\, demonstrations from exhibitors\, live music Saturday starts at 5 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nNEW THIS YEAR...\n\nFREE Singin' Saturday Night\n\nJoin us for "Park Rapids Sings"! A singing competition where contestants must be between the age of 15-25 and either live\, work or attend school in Park Rapids! Both the winner AND the runner up will advance to represent Park Rapids at the "Minnesota Sings" amateur singing competition in St. Paul\, MN on September 24\, 2017!\n\nOpen Karaoke to follow\, time permitting.\n\n(Interested in competing at Park Rapids Sings?
