DESCRIPTION:League of Women Voters of the Park Rapids Area will host a candidate forum for Menahga Mayor and Council at 7 p.m. Thursday\, Oct. 13 at the Menahga School Media Center. Invited to participate in the Menahga Council forum are Mayor Patrick Foss and challenger Jensine Kurtti. Maxine (Norman) McNeece and Kim Rasmussen both currently serve on the Menahga Council and are running in a special election for one position to be filled. Questions may be submitted by e-mail to lwvparkrapids@lwvmn.org no later than noon Saturday\, Oct. 8. Please put the forum date in the subject line. Questions also may be submitted at the event. Pencils and paper will be provided or bring your questions with you. League members will collect audience questions to be screened.
