Her artwork will be featured in a special display starting Thursday\, August 30 and continue through the month of September. There will be a public reception celebrating the new show from 5-7 p.m. Friday\, September 7 at the gallery.\n\n \n\nSharbo will be displaying recent as well as earlier artworks showing both her progression as an artist throughout her career and the varied subjects represented in her collection of works. Sharbo paints in her studio north of Park Rapids and also does some plein air painting on occasion. She paints with acrylics\, watercolors and creates multi-media collages.\n\nSome new guest artists are also being featured at the gallery in September. The Leach Lake Art League will be displaying a wide variety of artwork created by a number of their area artist members. The League is an organization of more than 30 artists from Pine River\, Walker\, Park Rapids\, Bemidji\, Longville\, Nevis and the surrounding area.\n\n \n\nJewelry artist\, Monica Hansmeyer\, will also be a September guest artist. Hansmeyer specializes in etched\, hand fabricated\, silver and gold jewelry set with unique stones.
