SUMMARY:Menahga Midsummer Festival
DESCRIPTION:A carnival will be back again this year for all three days.\n\n	\n\n	The Little Miss and MIss Menahga pageants will kick off the festival at 7 pm on Friday\n\n	\n\n	Saturday - 32nd Annual St Urho 5k Walk and Run\, and 10K Run at 9:00 am  The race begins at the old baseball field and ends at the St Urho statue.  You can preregister at the Shell gas station\, the Cenex store or by going on www.allsportscentral.com  Registration ends at 8:30 on the day of the event.\n\n	\n\n	Check out other events around town all day.\n\n	\n\n	Events especially for kids will be throughout the day.  There will be a parade\, with the bagpipe band from the Fargo Moorhead area performing during the parade and providing more entertainment by the lake after the parade and prior to the fireworks.\n\n	\n\n	Fireworks will take place Saturday night at dusk on the shore of Spirit Lake. \n\n	Sunday - Lions Pancake Feed from 7 am to noon at the city park.  More events include a Midsummer Sand and Mud 4 x 4 and ATV race at 1 pm Sunday 1 1/2 miles east  of Menahga on Co Rd 21.\n\n	\n\n	Conservation Club Kids Fishing Derby at noon at the Spirit Lake fishing pier.\n\n	\n\n	Prize drawings are at 3 pm Sunday at Spirit Lake access.  Tickets are available from any Menahga C & C businesses and members.
