SUMMARY:Menahga Midsummer Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 29th Annual St Urho Walk and Run\, and 10K run will begin at 9 am on Saturday.  The race begins at the old baseball field and ends at the St. Urho statue.  Pre-register at the Shell gas station\, the Cenex store or by calling Tom at 564-5497. The Arts & Crafts Show will be from 9 am to 4 pm on the shore of Spirit Lake. Evening events on Saturday include the Midsummer Festival Parade at 7 pm\, followed by the Firemen's Dance at 8:30 pm in the parking lot next to Northbound Spirits. Fireworks are at dusk on Saturday from the shore of Spirit Lake. On Sunday a Conservation Club Kids Fishing Derby will be at noon at the Spirit Lake Fishing pier and the "Porch Pickers" will perform a concert at 1 pm at Spirit Lake. Also on Sunday are the Midsummer Sand & Mud 4x4 and ATV Races at 1:00 pm.  Registration ends on Sunday at 12:30 pm.  Races are located 1 1/2 miles east of Menahga on Co Rd 31.   Follow the signs.
