SUMMARY:Menahga Midsummer Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Miss Menahga & Little Miss Menahga Pageant @ 7:00 pm on Friday.  The band "Blindsight 20/20" @ VFW.  Saturday:  St Urho 5K Walk & Run and 10K Run @9:00 am\; pre-register at the Shell gas station\, Cenex store or by calling Tom @ 564-5497.  Those who pre-register are eligible for door prizes.  Art & Craft Show 9 am to 4 pm on the shore of Spirit Lake.  Old Timers Baseball Tournament starts at 11 am and runs all day.  Horseshoe tournaments 9:00 am & 1:00 pm at the city park.  Firemen's water fight 1pm to 3 pm downtown.  Midsummer Festival Parade @ 7:00 pm\, followed by the Firemen's Dance at 8:30 pm in parking lot next to Northbound Spirits.  Fireworks @ dusk.  Sunday:  Lions Pancake Feed 7:00 am to noon at Senior/Community Center.  Art & Craft show continues.  Kids Fishing Derby at noon to Spirit Lake fishing pier.  Check for other events.
