DESCRIPTION:Matthew J. Lorenz began his piano studies in Fargo\, North Dakota at the age of 9 and had several Midwest competition wins throughout high school and college. Matthew was noticed particularly during his debuts with several orchestras playing Franz Liszt's Totentanz in the late 2010s. While at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (Master's & Diploma)\, Matthew studied with Edward Auer\, Jungwha Auer\, and Adam Neiman.\n \n\nNow based in Chicago\, Matthew has served as the artistic and technical director at Davenport's Piano Bar & Cabaret in Chicago and is on the prestigious piano faculty at New Music School.
