DESCRIPTION:Emma and Jacob Taggart are a brother and sister piano duo who are well on their way to becoming concert pianists.  Although Emma is only 14 and Jacob 10\, they perform with the poise\, maturity and musicality of artists twice their age.   Both have been playing since the age of 4\, and have since amazed audiences not only in the United States\, but also in Europe.  \n\nEmma and Jacob have appeared on NPR's From the Top and performed in concert with Prince's former drummer and fianc e\, Sheila E.  They have won many awards\, including the Jack Kent Cooke Award\, which included a $10\,000 scholarship.  They have also won numerous competitions\, both national and international\, and performed with several orchestras\, including members of the Milan Chamber Orchestra.  \n\nBoth Emma and Jacob study with Juilliard graduate\, Dr. Reid Smith.  They attend St. Agnes School where Emma is in 9th grade and Jacob is in 6th.
