DESCRIPTION:Please forward or post this message to your resort and hotel patrons.\n\n \n\nThese are hikes designed for people who have not hiked the North Country Trail before.  Experienced hikers can join as well and have a good experience.  The pubic is welcome and families with children are especially welcome.  These hikes give the resort patrons another recreational opportunity and forest experience in the north woods.\n\n\n\nAt the end of each hike\, people are givenrides back to their cars.  Hikers should wear sturdy shoes\, bring water\, a snack and insect repellent.\n\n\n\nThree hikes are scheduled:  A short out and back\, as well as a 1.8 mile hike to Shingobee Recreation Area and a 4.3 hike to the Shingobee River Bridge/parking lot on Hwy 50
