DESCRIPTION:The Park Rapids Arts and Culture Advisory Commission welcomes your ideas about how the arts can help us create a more vital and prosperous community.  A community meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday\, Dec. 18 at the Park Rapids City Council Chambers. Please use the entrance from 2nd Street West. \n\nThe Advisory Commission will use your ideas and input to update goals in the city Arts and Culture Plan approved in June 2017.\n\nSome goals in the original plan have been met\, including the Red Bridge Park Sculpture Trail. With the Armory Square project becoming a reality and the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council as a partner\, the commission will assess its role as project leader\, partner or supporter in future projects.\n\nIf you are unable to attend Dec. 18\, you are invited to participate in an Arts Council survey available online at http://www.prlaac.org. Results from this survey also will be shared with the Advisory Commission.\n\nFor more information\, contact Ryan Zemek\, Economic Development Director\, Headwaters Regional Development Commission\, at 218-333-6541 or at Rzemek@hrdc.org.
