DESCRIPTION:Friends of Portage Brewing Company in Walker are putting together an event to support and encourage the owners and staff of the establishment that was destroyed by fire\n\nearly Sunday morning.\n\n\n\nThe event will be held on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Leech Lake Event Center\, located at Bluewater Lodge south of Walker on Hwy 371.\n\n\n\nCorey Medina and Brothers will provide entertainment\, with Jeff Menten\, Paul Nye & Keith Thunem opening for Medina. In addition to donating use of the event center space\, Chase on the Lake Resort is providing their Signature\n\nBourbon Bacon Popcorn & Trail mix. A Cash Bar will also be available with a portion of the proceeds going to Portage Brewing Company.\n\n\n\nIt is important to note that this event is not a benefit to raise funds\, but an opportunity for the greater Leech Lake Community to express their support and encouragement for what Portage Brewing Company and staff have brought\n\nto the community over the last two years.\n\n\n\nAll the entities involved are donating their time and talents at no cost.
