DESCRIPTION:The Northwestern Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is excited to announce a bicycle tour across our synod that we?re calling The Hunger Ride: Feeding People\, Feeding Souls?a ride to grow awareness of and encourage support for efforts that address local and world hunger. The bike tour runs from May 9th-15th. If you are interested in biking for this cause\, we would love to have you. The ride starts in Turtle River on May 9th and traveling through Bemidji\, Walker\, Park Rapids\, Wadena\, Perham\, Detroit Lakes\, Hawley\, and many communities in between. There will also be a day ride in Moorhead to cap the tour\, starting and finishing at the Church of the Good Shepherd on May 16 with routes 30-70 miles in length?open to all!
