DESCRIPTION:The Nemeth Art Center will be hosting a public weaving session for our community art project Woven Welcome. Throughout the spring\, the Art Center will be helping local residents weave small sections of rug\, which will then all be put together to form a giant welcome mat for the weekend of the Governor's Fishing Opener. The mat\, which will cover part of a block of Main Avenue during GFO weekend will create a unique and beautiful welcoming to the Governor and out of town guests.\n\n\n\nNo experience\, tools\, or supplies are necessary. People of all ages and abilities can participate in this event.
