SUMMARY:Youth Music & Arts Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Young people's original artwork\, including prints\, ceramics\, wildlife paintings\, drawings\, metal sculpture\, mosaic and more will be displayed in store windows and businesses downtown.  A panel of judges will view the student's works and award scholarships. \n\n	\n\n	Day care providers and parents of preschoolers are invited to do chalk art on downtown sidewalks Friday morning.  Free chalk will be available at Wildwood Enchantment\, 209 S Main Avenue.\n\n	\n\n	A Youth Music Showcase featuring the area's finest young musicians will provide fast-paced entertainment.  They will perform downtown in Pioneer Park Friday\, Aug 16\, starting at noon\; as well as play in a concert from 6 - 8 pm Thursday as part of the 2nd Street Stage summer music series.
