17th Annual Park Rapids Fire Dept.Open House

Description

  We have lots of things for you to look forward to when you come to our open house this year. We will be serving food as always so come and get your fill.

 We will have all the tables set up in the apparatus bay, none will be in our meeting room this year to allow for the best possible airflow. And because we will not be having bounce houses this year, make sure your kids are ready for some wet fun as we will still have dunk tanks and some hoses, so swimsuits and flip-flops are suggested attire for the little ones if they plan to get wet.

 We will have several demonstrations this year in the parking lot, so I hope you’re ready to learn more about what we do as a fire department and get some education in the process on fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.

 We charge nothing for this event but we do encourage free will donations as this is what helps fund our fire department in getting updated and new items to add to our trucks for our personnel to use on any type of emergency. 

 All in all, we would love to see the public come out and support our fire department. It means a lot to meet the members of our community and for you to meet us, without our bunker gear on, so you can get to know your local volunteer fire department members.
