20th Anniversary of 9/11

It’s still unbelievable how much time has passed and yet the memories are still so fresh from that day.

The Park Rapids Fire Department will have a display set up in remembrance, in the front parking lot. We will be sounding the sirens three times in the morning, at the times the planes crashed. One of our firefighters will be reading the names of 343 victims starting at 8:30 AM in the parking lot with a speaker set up.

If you happen to drive by, or come listen to the names of lives lost that day, just remember how we pulled together as a country and as a community. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten.
