21st Century Propaganda: Understanding: Today's Media System

At a time when many people are worried about “fake news,” “alternative facts” and conspiracies to brainwash the masses, guest speaker Jeff Nygaard, who is the author of the "Nygaard's Notes" newsletter and a Star Tribune contributor, will offer an original analysis of media's propaganda system. 

He will describe the nature of media and how it works to elevate certain ideas or ways of thinking and diminish others,  But isn’t everything different in the age of social media, when people can get news from a million different sources? Come join the discussions.
