Description
Northview Bank will sponsor Brother Jon, a Minneapolis rock band, rooted in blues and classic rock with a jam style all of their own. Winners of the 2016 Famous Dave’s battle of the bands and Duluth’s 94x battle of the bands and Inline Marathon competition, the band has played at the Lowertown Blues Festival in St. Paul, Duluth’s Homegrown Festival, the Northwoods Blues Festival in Chippewa Falls, WI, and in 2017 at The Red Gorilla Festival, a division of the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX. Brother Jon mixes their own music with covers of famous rock bands, including Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and Black Crowes. Band members are Jon Rabideaux, guitar, vocals; Chris Warren, bass; and Adam Lain, drums. Arrive at 5 for the social hour, sponsored by Knute Nelson/Crystal Brook.
