Unfortunately unsafe ice conditions will not allow the derby to take place this year. All other derby event activities will take place including; Friday Fish Fry, Saturday morning SAL breakfast, Ladies Auxiliary Lunch and a Saturday evening dance !

The first Saturday in February always promises to be a great day on the ice for the American Legion Community Fishing Derby on Fish Hook Lake. Thousands of fishing enthusiasts enjoy great food, dancing and an awards presentation for a weekend of fun! The derby offers one of the largest purses in Minnesota with over $150,000 in cash and prizes.
