As an Official City Partner with Google, the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is helping local businesses get online and manage their business information so that more customers can find them.  

When we put your small business on the map, we help people find, share and connect with the people and places they love, strengthening our community.  

97% of consumers look for local goods and services online and it's essential that local businesses have their information on the web. And we can help.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet on Wednesday. We will be going through the steps to verify and claim your business address with Google My Business.

In preparation for the workshop:

1. Bring a fully charged device (laptop, tablet, smart phone).
2. If you are using an Apple tablet or iphone, please download the Google Business App before attending.
3. You need to create or sign-in to a Google (email) Account. (You can register another address if you prefer.)
4. PO Boxes are NOT allowed when verifying. If you do not receive mail at your physical address. Google will send a postcard with a code to claim your address.  It could take anywhere from 4 to 14 days to receive.
