Saturday Jan 24, 2026 Sunday Jan 25, 2026
The 2026 Heartland 200 snowmobile race is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24-25. Jointly organized by COR PowerSports, the Park Rapids Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and a local organizing committee, this race brings the top snowmobile racers from Minnesota and the Midwest to Park Rapids.
The standard race course features 120 miles full of wooded trails and ditches making it a very technical and unique course. Fish Hook Lake serves as a backup location pending snow conditions. Racers of all ages and skill will be competing with classes from Juniors to Pro Stock to Vintage classes.
Gates open both days at 8 a.m., with races starting at 9 a.m. There will be a parking and spectator area for the public near the start/finish line and spectators. Admission is $15 for a single day or $20 for a weekend pass. Children aged 12 and under are free.
The local organizing committee would like to thank the City of Park Rapids, Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, Hubbard County First Responders, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Forest Riders Snowmobile Club, Nevis Trailblazers Snowmobile Club, community volunteers, and a large list of business sponsors for their role in ensuring the safety and success of this event.
