Don't miss the last sale of summer.  Browse tables and racks on sidewalks and in downtown stores for savings.  Check individual stores for sale hours--all day.

Festivities kick off on Thursday at 8:00 am with the Downtown Dash - a 5k or a 1 mile walk/run through area streets and starts and finishes at 2nd Street and Main Avenue. Go to www.parkrapidsdowntown.com   for more information and registration forms.  Entry fee is $10 in advance and $15 on race day.  Participants are encouraged to wear crazy costumes, with prizes for best costume (kids and adults). 

Other highlights include live music in Pioneer Park from 10 am to 3:00 pm and also music in Moose Creek Village.  Street performers will include balloon art and magic. Costumed employees in local shops, and caricature artist, Nathan Luetgers  will be on hand to paint mustaches on anyone and everyone who wants them.  There will be Story Time at the Library.  Lots of activities, with 2nd Street Stage in the evening and Arvig's Summer Bash.
