2015 Parade Route - The parade stays South of Highway 34!
Starting from the Hubbard County Fair Grounds on Fair Avenue & 2nd Street going East, right on Main Avenue South to 8th Street West back to Fair Avenue where the parade will end and disperse.
Additional Spectator Parking at DaVita Dialysis Center, Essentia Clinic & CHI St. Joseph's parking lots.

Description
- Firecracker Foot Race - Starting and finishing in Heartland Park.
5K race starts at 9:00 am. FREE KIDS FUN RUN 1K following the 5K.

(On site registration 6:30-8:15 am. A PR Track & Cross Country fundraiser.) - John Michael Lerma Pie Baking Contest & Auction - Hosted by Beagle and Wolf Books & Bindery. $5 Entry fee per pie. Bakers can enter a pie in 1 of 4 categories. Cash prizes given to top pies in each category including best in show! All pies minus one slice will be auctioned off at 3:30pm on Main Street. (All proceeds benefit the Park Rapids Public Library)
- 4th of July Parade "America's Superheroes" - Celebrate America’s birthday, Downtown Park Rapids on Main Street. Paying tribute to the men & women who fought for our freedom. (Starting at 5 pm.) (Parade organized by the PRLA Chamber of Commerce)
- Community Band Pre-Fireworks Concert - The Park Rapids Area Community Band performs at 7:30 p.m. in Heartland Park.
- Park Rapids Rotary Fireworks - At Dusk the day comes to a close with a fireworks display overlooking Fish Hook River & Heartland Park.
