Headwaters Animal Shelter Tails on Trails Walk-a-Thon

Description

    This year's event will honor companion animals that are "Lending a Helping Paw".  Rules are simple.  Register at www.headwatersanimalshelter.org/walkathon   Then start collecting funds for the shelter.  On June 9 leash your dog, collect your pledges and head to the park for a walk and expo.  Prizes will be awarded for the Top Dog pledge earners.  
    Food, vendors and fun for the entire family are on the dogget (docket) including most unique pet, owner/pet look alike contest and best "helping paw" trick.  Live demos will be included freestyle dancing dog, flyball racing and herding demo.  
    A reduced cost micro-chip clinic will be in the shelter pavilion.  And -new this year-pre-registered dogs will receive personalized bandanas.
