Description
NCT Hiker’s Challenge “165 # 10. A hike of is 7.3 miles. The route passes through a variety of forest types, including old-growth pine and recently planted pine, birch, and aspen. It has some elevation changes and climbs a scenic hill. Meet at Meet at 9:00 AM at the Clearwater Co. 39 Trailhead. From Hwy 71 just south of Itasca State Park, take Hwy113 west for 13 miles to intersection of Hwy 39 (to the north and Hwy 37 to the south). Turn north on Hwy 39 for 1.6 miles to the trailhead.
