HLDC Winter Showcase

Description

Heartland Lakes Development Commission is holding a fundraising event on January 19, 2024, at the American Legion in Park Rapids. The event will celebrate our work during the past year, provide information on our current activities, and raise funds to allow us to continue to offer our training and technical assistance program at low or no cost.
 
The event will feature a taco bar and silent auction of a variety of unique gift baskets.  Your organization can help support the work we do in two important ways.
 
First, by providing items to include in the auction. This could be an entire gift basket, smaller items that can be combined with other donations or cash we can use to purchase items for the auction.  All contributors will be acknowledged for their generosity during the event.
 
The second way is to attend the event at the American Legion on January 19^th to show your support for the HLDC and learn more about what we have going on.
 
Board members will be canvasing the community in the coming weeks to request donations; however, you don’t have to wait.  Simply contact Alisha Hendrickson at ahendrickson@heartlandlakesdc.org or 218-732-2256 or drop items off at 100 8^th St E.  All items must be received by January 10, 2024 to be included in the auction.
 
Heartland Lakes Development Commission is a nonprofit economic development organization that works in Hubbard County to Inspire and Retain Economic Growth.  We encourage collaboration and strive to find creative solutions to the challenges facing the community.

• technical assistance and training to small businesses and entrepreneurs
• access to capital through loans and grants
• business attraction and retention services
• site selection assistance
• workforce development

• Funding for business rehab through the Main Street Economic Revitalization Grants
• Co – Sponsorship of Heartland Lakes Career Fair
• Development of Pine Crest Apartments
