October 10, 2015: “Honoring the Ojibwe Culture through Dance and Storytelling” for grades Kindergarten through 3rd.
At 10:30 am at Park Rapids Library, The League of Women Voter Park Rapids and Kitchigami Regional Library System: Park Rapids Branch is presenting a program for children Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Adults and other caregivers are encouraged to attend also.
The program is on Ojibwe Dancing and storytelling featuring the Snow Snake. Part of the program will include some Ojibwe language lessons and reading from a related library book. We are asking that parents/caregivers call the library at (218) 732-4966 to register for this event to assist the organizers in set up. All the programs are free and open to the public.
