Come along with us on the Park Rapids History Trail and learn where the Ojibwe made their home, prior to the logging industry, and enticement of wide flat prairies that brought Euro-American Inhabitants, who would develop Park Rapids, which became official in 1882, and joined Hubbard County in 1883, formerly Cass County-1880. Rod Nordberg and
Lu Ann Hurd-Lof will expound upon sites along the trail that are key features of Park Rapids development. It is important to understand the history of our communities to preserve heritage. Help us to do that by attending if you are able. It will be a fun and educational experience! Refreshments will be served beforehand.
