Description
Annual Meeting of the Hubbard County Historical Society with speaker Will Weaver. Will Weaver will speak about growing up in Park Rapids, his writing career and the inspirations that drove him to become a novelist. He is the author of more than a dozen books among them 'Red Earth White Earth', 'Memory Bay', Striking Out', 'Farm Team', and many others. He has written several collections of short stories. His short story 'A Gravestone Made of Wheat' was adapted to make the movie 'Sweetland", Will has a new book coming out this fall entitled 'Power and Light'. He has graciously offered to provide a door prize of some of his books.
