All vehicles entering a state park must display a valid year-round or one-day Minnesota state park vehicle permit. Purchase vehicle permits online or at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center, open 9-6 PM daily.
Description
Come enjoy a Sunday afternoon concert on the shore of Lake Itasca. The Pier Country and Friends concert will allow audience members to experience a similar feel of attending a 'Grand Ole Opry' type show from years past, paying tribute to some of the great legends of Country Music. Pier Country was formed in 1999, and has been entertaining audiences throughout Minnesota, offering a "Taste Of Nashville--The Golden Years" for over two decades. This performance is outdoors. Bench seating is provided, or bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Pets on leashes welcome.
The Friends of Itasca State Park volunteer group will be hosting an ice cream social at this event.
