All vehicles entering a state park must display a valid year-round or one-day Minnesota state park vehicle permit. Purchase online or at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center, open 9 AM - 6 PM daily.
Description
Celebrate National Nature Photography Day and National Get Outdoors Day with the family on a self-guided photo adventure at Itasca State Park! Meet at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center at 12:30 p.m. for a brief introduction to nature photography. Receive your activity directions, photo checklist and a list of fun places you can visit before you head out to explore on your own! This scavenger hunt involves searching for items on the checklist and documenting your discoveries through photographs. Return to the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center by 3:30 p.m. to share your photos and create a card with your favorite photo to take home!
