Meet around the Mary Gibbs Mississippi Headwaters Center and the pathway to the Mississippi Headwaters
 
Come explore and discover the infant Mississippi River at a variety of information and activity stations. Learn about water, wildlife, plants and people that make the river home. Visit for as little or as long as you like. Many activities for all ages at this family friendly event! Special appearance by Woodsy Owl. Have your picture taken with Woodsy and follow his motto “Lend a hand—care for the land!” Woodsy encourages us to marvel at and explore the natural world and that everyone can make a positive difference in your world, whether it is in the country or the city.
