Itasca Wildlife Wonders - The Gift of...
Description
Did you know that Itasca State didn't have any beaver when the park was first established? Join us for this evening 'Talk and Walk' as we learn about the Canadian gift of beaver to Itasca in 1901 and then walk to Mary Lake in search of this now abundant mammal.
Distance 1 mile round trip.
This program is part of the 125th anniversary celebration of Itasca State Park and Minnesota State Parks and Trails.
