Join this self-guided Bioblitz and explore La Salle Lake Scientific and Natural Area!
Between August 26 - September 9, head over to La Salle Lake SNA near Bemidji, Minnesota anytime that works for you and make some iNaturalist observations or help identify observations from home in an effort to enhance the species list for this site. This self-guided Bioblitz allows individuals and household groups to get outside and contribute to community science while practicing safe social distancing. Please check the journal posts on this project for updates and site details!
To participate, sign up by selecting “Join” By joining the project, you’ll receive event updates, guidelines and tips when we post them in the project journal. There will be a prize for the participant with the most observations (an SNA water bottle)! Results will be shared with participants, and verified research grade plant observations will be added to the plant lists on the SNA’s webpage. Stay tuned for more details as we kick this self-guided Bioblitz off!
