Description
Friday’s activities kick off with a sloppy joe dinner served by the Guthrie Nary Lions from 5 to 7 pm. A three-day flea market will start on Friday and run until Sunday afternoon after the grand parade.
A number of activities are planned on Saturday, including a flapjack feed, radio control plane demos, a wagon train and trail ride. The Lakeport Fire Department will host an open house and pig roast from 11 am to 3 pm with a water fight and displays to entertain folks. The PTO will host a carnival for kids, the Lions will host a bingo tournament, and a Battle of the Bands Rock Sober street dance and expo will be downtown from 7:30 to 11:30 pm.
On Sunday there will be a kiddie parade and the grand parade. A hot dog eating contest will be held at 4 pm in the Lion's tent and kids can dig for treasure in the money pit south of the flag pole at 4:30 pm. The weekend's event conclude at 5 pm will the raffle winners being announced.
