Meet at the Clearwater Co. 39 trailhead for a 2.5 mile hike with longer options available. This section has been recently redone. From Detroit Lakes the trailhead is east on State Hwy 34 for 15 miles, then north on Becker Co. 37 for 21 miles. At the intersection with MN State Hwy 113 continue straight on Clearwater Co. 39 for 1.5 miles. Construction and road closure does not effect this route. For more information call 218-841-2857.
