Water Wars <-- click for registrationFestivities kick off with Water Wars at 5:30 pm Thursday on Main Street in Downtown Park Rapids. Teams sign up to battle it out for bragging rights and ownership of the "Loony Traveling Trophy" for the year. Then grab a chair and stay for music at 2nd Street.
NEW THIS YEAR...Lumber Jack & Jill Challenge
Like a little challenge? Can you handle some good'ole fashioned physical labor ...logger style? Then you're the one we need! Gather your team of 4 today for a chance to win $500 cash & braggin' rights! (minimum of 1 Jill per team)
Teams will be challenged to a head to head, single elimination competition to stack log cookies, make a bow saw cut & hammerschlagen with the fastest team advancing until they are the only one left to take home the money!

Master Chainsaw Artists & AuctionSculptors begin their masterpieces early Friday morning. Right before your eyes the sawdust flies and huge logs begin too shape into beautiful pieces of art. Final touches are put on Saturday morning before they're put up for auction to the highest bidders in the afternoon.
Fun Family ActivitiesFood on site both days, Saturday a Loggers Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., Civil War canon exhibit and a candy canon shot multiple times both days, dutch oven cooking samples, demonstrations from exhibitors, live music Saturday starts at 5 p.m.
NEW THIS YEAR...FREE Singin' Saturday Night
Join us for "Park Rapids Sings"! A singing competition where contestants must be between the age of 15-25 and either live, work or attend school in Park Rapids! Both the winner AND the runner up will advance to represent Park Rapids at the "Minnesota Sings" amateur singing competition in St. Paul, MN on September 24, 2017!
Open Karaoke to follow, time permitting.
