Don't miss out on this unique event with guest musician, Elise! A sound bath is a sensory experience that uses resonant instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to create a soothing musical soundscape, promoting deep relaxation, stress reduction, and well-being. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, your coziest sweater, or any other items you'd like to create a comfortable space for yourself inside the historic Forest Inn (chairs will be provided if preferred). Participants are invited to use this time for rest and quiet reflection. Drift into another beautiful autumn weekend restored and refreshed!
The Autumn Sound Bath at Itasca State Park will be focused on sense of place: the awareness of our sensory perceptions at play and the significance our environments have in shaping our emotions and sense of belonging, addressing the fortune of being surrounded by Mother Nature and the natural beauty of the park that lends itself to the experience.
About the artist: Elise is a multi-instrumental recording artists who practices sound and vibrational therapies based in the Mojave Desert. Weaving her own sound into multidisciplinary works, she is passionate about sharing her creations with others and nurturing the powerful and meaningful effect it has on recognizing their own inherent creative gifts through musical connection.
