All vehicles entering a state park must display a valid year-round or one-day Minnesota state park vehicle permit. Purchase online or at the Jacob V. Brower Visitor Center, open 9 AM - 6 PM daily.
Description
Come enjoy LIVE MUSIC under the pines at Itasca State Park! The Park Rapids Area Community Band formed in 1991 and have played at Itasca State Park for more than 15 years! Around 50 band members from Park Rapids, Bemidji, Detroit Lakes, Hawley, Fargo, Perham, New York Mills, and Menahga (to name a few), generously share their time, talents, and love of music with local communities throughout the year. Their classic concert band repertoire includes marches, overtures, and patriotic tunes. This is an outdoor event. The concert will be held on the lawn in front of the Douglas Lodge. No seating is provided so bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Pets on leashes welcome.
The Music Under the Pines summer concert series is sponsored in partnership with the Friends of Itasca State Park. The Friends will host an ice cream social at this event.
Grab a bite to eat or find a special souvenir next door before the performance!
The Douglas Lodge Restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday, 11 AM-5 PM.
The Forest Inn Gift Shop is open daily, 9 AM-5 PM.
